Pay attention to the crushing hammer – operation misunderstanding!–Part one

Due to the reciprocating rapid impact movement of the crushing hammer when working, any active connection parts are easy to be damaged, the speed of oil return is also relatively fast and the relative pulse is larger, resulting in the speed of hydraulic oil aging. But as long as the correct use and standard operation, avoid the common operation errors, you can avoid some failures, effectively prolong the service life of the hydraulic crushing hammer.

Avoid operation errors:

1. First of all, carefully read the maintenance manual of the hydraulic crushing hammer, which contains the correct operation and maintenance method of the crushing hammer, in order to prevent damage to the hydraulic crushing machine and digging machine, and help to effectively operate them.

2. Before operation, check whether the bolts and connecting head are loose, and whether there is leakage in the hydraulic pipeline, so as to avoid the tubing falling off due to vibration and failure.

3. Do not peck holes in hard rock with a hydraulic crusher. When breaking particularly hard objects, should start from the edge, do not continuously beat at the same point for more than 30 seconds, to prevent the rod burn or hydraulic oil overheating.


4. Do not operate when the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder is fully extended or fully contracted, otherwise the impact vibration will be transmitted to the hydraulic cylinder and thus to the main engine.

5. When the hydraulic hose appears violent vibration, the operation of the crusher should be stopped and the pressure of the accumulator should be checked.

6. Prevent interference between the boom of the digging machine and the drill bit of the crusher.


7、Do not in the water or mud crushing operation, in addition to the rod, other parts of the hammer body should not be immersed in water or mud, otherwise the piston and other parts with similar functions will cause premature loss of the hammer due to accumulation of mud.
